I want to connect to oracle DB from another system, although listener is listening , but when i try to connect from navicat (client) it gives me error
"TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descripto"

can anybody help me in this....

- Please try tnsping from the client
- Check lsnrctl status <your listener name> from the server and see if the listenr has service of your db registered.
